La acciòn plantea, al igual que en los trabajos anteriores de ANONYMOUS WOMAN, difundir el mensaje de una mujer anònima que a diario sale a su ventana con la intenciòn de que sus palabras le lleguen a todo el mundo. En este caso, se reprodujeron en el cementerio Municipal de Querètaro, una selecciòn de grabaciones que versan sobre religiòn, Iglesia, muerte y soledad.
La propia inutilidad del acto de difundir estas reflexiones entre los difuntos, genera una relaciòn paradòjica entre este hecho y el que realizamos de forma natural desde hace siglos: hablar con los muertos; quizà el mayor acto de abstracciòn y vacìo generado por el ser humano y su ancestral necesidad de fe.
Este trabajo forma parte del proyecto ANONYMOUS WOMAN, en el que desde el año 2008 Josechu Dàvila ha difundido, por medio de obras de arte, el mensaje que una mujer anònima (nunca dijo su nombre) espetaba a diario desde su ventana para recriminar e iluminar al mundo.
The action proposes, as in the previous works of ANONYMOUS WOMAN, to spread the message of an anonymous woman who goes out of her window every day with the intention that her words reach the whole world. In this case, a selection of recordings about religion, church, death and loneliness were played in the municipal cemetery of Queretaro.
The very uselessness of the act of disseminating these reflections among the deceased generates a paradoxical relationship between this act and the one we have been carrying out naturally for centuries: talking to the dead; perhaps the greatest act of abstraction and emptiness generated by human beings and their ancestral need for faith.
This work is part of the project ANONYMOUS WOMAN, in which since 2008 Josechu Dàvila has spread, through works of art, the message that an anonymous woman (she never said her name) shouted every day from her window to reproach and enlighten the world.
