A finales del año 2000, Emilio Sola, en el marco de la estructuración
de un Laboratorio de Humanidades en la Universidad de Alcalá,
le propuso a Josechu Dávila viajar a Formentera con Julia G. Mora
y grabar en video el cambio de milenio.
El 31 de diciembre del año 2000,
desde la casa del pintor Taulé, con el comité de acogida, Bárbara y Pedro Martín,
decidieron grabar media hora antes de la medianoche camino de la Fonda Pepe
de San Fernando
y luego, sin tener muy clara la cosa, dejar la acción al azar.
Al saber que el amanecer en La Mola
podía considerarse el primero del milenio en España,
Julia y Josechu salieron hacia allá y, tras varias horas y copas,
invitados por un arquitecto, a quien conocieron a lo largo de la noche a su casa,
en primera línea de La Mola,
consiguieron grabar desde la azotea un fragmento espléndido de dicho amanecer.
Este es el resultado, un plano fijo de 23.39 minutos.
At the end of the year 2000, Emilio Sola, in the framework of the structuring
