12 lienzos sobre bastidor de 146x114 cm, pintados con acrìlico y òleo, firmados y numerados del 1/12 al 12/12, existiendo ademàs 1 P/A (el 10% estipulado). El nùmero de la ediciòn està en relaciòn directa con las dimensiones del espacio expositivo.
Al considerarse los 12 cuadros como una ediciòn, automàticamente pesan de ser pintura original, a ediciòn seriada. Paradògicamente, esta intencionada bajada de categorìa sigue siendo superior al hecho de no haberse numerado, pues entonces, desde la actual òptica artìstica, se considerarìa un sòlo cuadro original y el resto simples copias sin apenas valor, algo muy dado y aceptado a lo largo de la historia...
Los cuadros estàn pintados por el propio autor, utilizandose en este caso, como herramienta para la instalaciòn.
La instalaciòn iba acompañada de un catàlogo con los doce cuadros y presentado con un texto de Santiago Olmo.
12 canvases on 146x114 cm stretcher frame, painted in acrylic and oil, signed and numbered from 1/12 to 12/12, with 1 P/A (the stipulated 10%). The number of the edition is directly related to the dimensions of the exhibition space.
As the 12 paintings are considered as an edition, they are automatically transformed from original paintings into a serial edition. Paradoxically, this intentional downgrading is still superior to the fact of not having been numbered, because then, from the current artistic point of view, it would be considered only one original painting and the rest simple copies with hardly any value, something very common and accepted throughout history?
The paintings are painted by the author himself, in this case, as a tool for the installation.
The installation was accompanied by a catalogue with the twelve paintings and presented with a text by Santiago Olmo.
